Civilizing Maggie

The Wife Takes Over

Designing Woman Once I had actually driven Maggie down the road, I felt confident investing in some refinements. My wife took over at this point. She wanted seats and doors.
Ron Brown came through with the seats. He was upgrading to Defender seats in his Rover, and he traded me his old set for an original Series II horn button. Once the seats arrived, Colleen picked out the material she wanted to cover them with. They have custom made bottoms, fabricated from 3/4 inch plywood, with nice support ribs. They were an excellent starting point. Thanks Ron! I'm sure we both feel we got the better deal!

Whammo!
Maggie becomes civilized. Now the wife wants a heater!
