More Of The Dark Continent
This and the photo below were taken with a long telephoto. You just don't approach these guys. All the animals in Tsavo are wild. This is no zoo, and they will rip your guts out. Literally.
This was a spooky feeling, being considered meals on wheels.
Near Lake Jipe we saw this herd. Notice the bull's trunk up. He's checking us out
He doubled back and charged us. Glad my guide kept the Rover running! All I could see were those tusks penetrating Birmabright!
